How to get Promotion onboard ship ?

Following are the Courses for deck side to get promote onboard ship.

1 - G.P Rating -For this courses require medical fit and 10th pass with 40 % marks in English subject and duration 6 months approved by DG Shipping India (Age limit 17-25 Years) after completion of this course you get reward of Indian CDC and after get CDC you will sail for 6 months to apply Watch keeping.
    After get watch keeping sail again for 09 months to get COP. For NCV examination you have gain sea experience of 36 months.

2 - B.Sc. Nautical Science- For this course duration 03 years and qualification 60% of 10+2 with PCM. Some of the company provided sponsored then you can get chance of sponsor campus Interview for various shipping company. after completion of this course you will get reward as Indian CDC as cadet. And after that you have to sail 09 to 12 months for appear 2nd mate exam.

3 - IGNOU Cadet 01 Year course- For this course qualification 60% in 10+2 with PCM 01 Year course with sponsor by company and Medically fit.

4 - Saloon Rating course - For this course duration 06 months qualification 10th with 40% English subject and Medically fit. After 01 year course complete sailed for 09-12 months to get cookery certificate. After again 09-12 months sailed and have to chance get Chief cook COC.

5 - GME (Graduation marine Engineer)-For this course duration 01 year and qualification B-Tech/B.E with Mechanical Engineer. After this course you have to sail 09 months as TME/JE with TAR book and after complete 09 months sea service in TAR book you are eligible to apper for MEO class IV FG. without Limitation.

06 - HOTEL Management-For this course duration 03 years and qualification 10+2 with 60% marks with PCM. after complete this course you will get reward Indian CDC. And you have to sail 01 year for sea experience then you will get chief Cook COC.
